Watched "Wheelman" on Netflix! Most of the movie he's in a beater to make a drop, which is a BMW. As far as the 3.2, you get a glimpse of it in the beginning and once he dumps BMW towards the end, he is in a really sweet '84 - '86 3.2 w/ a duck tail. I suggest all watch, it's a dam good movie from start to finish and who doesn't love to see out air cooled rides in action.
PS: IMO, best P-car movie of all time....No Mans Land! However, I am biased in that I grew up drooling over a 3.2 in the '80s and have owned my Targa since '11.

Yeah James woods was driving the Ferrari. i would imagine its a 308 based on the time period but don't remember, Ferrari 3.0 litre V8 vs Porsche F3.0 litre Flat 6.
There is a whole thread of great Porsche Movies on here somewhere.. ..No Mans Land has always been the favorite.

That was a great scene , great camera work and no Fast and Furious CGI BS.
I have been trying to track down the name of a movie I believe from the 80's that was filmed in Germany and the plot was that this gang was going around stealing new Porsches from dealerships in Germany....there was a lot of great footage of 911's from that era and some 928's too if I recall correctly....also had very interesting footage of the old dealerships....was 100% in German no English.....does anyone know the name of this film??
also check Gaslit (Watergate '72-74), on STARZ, John Dean is seen briefly in a 911Targa driving in the streets of D.C. Not certain on exact specs of car.
Watched The Hunter today w/ Steve McQueen for God knows how many times across my 52 years. Haven't watched it since I've owned my '84 in '11 though and just noticed there was a quick cameo of an SC Targa, which looks very similar to my 3.2, Carrera tail, black Fuchs and all.
