All,
I am trying to repair the clock on my 73 911T. I have disassembled it and have checked the low-temp solder connection -- it is solid. I even re-soldered it with the appropriate solder. I have also checked all of the points and cleaned what I can. I have confirmed that the clock is getting battery power. It will smoothly work when you wind the flywheel but will not reset (as it should when on power).
I have searched and searched and it seems like every thread I read says either (1) it must be your low-temp solder, that's the fix; and/or (2) your clock must be dirty.
Neither of these are the case for me.
Any suggestions?
