Default Manuals

Hello. I'm new here and I'm looking for the instruction manuals that come with the car, because mine are in German and I don't understand anything, do they exist in PDF? the car model is 911 3.2 from 1989. Thanks for the help.

Hi, welcome to Rennlist. So that's cool, sounds like a grey market car from Germany?

Are you looking for the owners manual? Surprisingly I have never found a scan of the owners manuals online anywhere, but they can be purchased new from dealers or on eBay.

If you want service manuals, there are pdf's here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/07qvhojcl...x-yXPVIsa?dl=0

Porsche factory service manuals can also be purchased, I think they are probably around $600 for the set. You can get most of what you need from the Bentley manual:
Amazon Amazon

I have a PDF copy of the owner's manual from 1987. PM me if you want me to email it.

Different vs. the service manual options, of course.

Interesting the cover is purple for an '89, my '84's manual is light blue....

FYI, that purple manual is for a Turbo, which will have a lot of obvious major differences than your 3.2. Maybe that's also why mine is light blue for my 3.2....

Not true. The cover shown above clearly says both Carrera (3.2) and turbo. The manual is for 1987, as said. No comment on what the color of the cover might imply, or why yours is different.

Here's a couple of pages from the manual showing info for both Carrera and turbo. It clearly says that it covers both cars. I can email you a copy if you want to prove this wrong.

I think owners manual cover colors changed often. In 1978 and 1980 they were red. My 1979 is bright blue. 1981 was grey, 1982 was green.

Carrera colors probably changed every year as well.
