Bought this 76 912e yesterday and just trying to get expert opinions I know nothing about Porsche’s but I’m super excited about it considering it’s got a 993 body but any help would be appreciated

While it may have been a conversion to a 6 cylinder at some point, that certainly doesn't look like a factory 912e to me. The 993 body parts look like they were put on by someone who cared about what they were doing. If the care runs, I'd do a tune up / refresh on it, and drive the poop out of it.
