Default RS replica & 3pc HREs, What color???

I am creating a Silver/Black 73 Carrera RS Replica and allready have the Fuchs. I recently purchased 3 pc HRE basketweeve and am looking to have the centers painted either BLACK or GOLD.

Vote for the best color whee for a Silver vintage race car.

BLACK or GOLD centers?

I would highly recommend Fuchs for your RS replica - makes it look much more authentic and they're very strong and light as well...

BTW, I think HRE makes a wheel with Fuch centers or looks like them.

Oh, ok. Well in that cae, I would recommend Black centers. Do you have a photo of your car? I always love to look at those!

Black, it is just the classic way to go in my opinion. Best wishes - Jay Gratton

Grant G, The car is currently in the body shop. About two months to go.

RS steel flares
RS fiberglass bumpers
RS ducktail
Carbon fIber front fenders
Roll cage
Fuel cell
All weatherstripping
Dynamat, carpet, and headliner

Oh yea, and all of the rust repair.(rear seats, deck lid and suspension pan)

I am documenting the process and will probably create another post.

I say go with a 'pewter' color...sort of a dark grey- flat, gloss-less color.

Think Tampa Bay Buc helmets minus the high gloss.

Two thoughts - gold would be more factory racing-like, and black would hide brake dust better.

Go with Black.
Gold reminds me of a 76 Pontiac Trans Am ala Smokey and the Bandit
