my Mechanic had no problem hooking it up. It’s pretty straightforward. But I would have someone skilled do the install. It is absolutely wonderful best $1200 I’ve spent on any car!

The previous owner installed a Kenwood that i really don't like. It just doesn't look right in a 1989 car. I did some research on the Porsche Classic radio and i would have to find a factory wiring harness/plug. Mine is no longer there.

I really like the Blaupunkt Bremem sqr 46. Expensive and not made any more but still some floating around. Looks old school, but has modern features. I had it in my F355 and it worked great. In my 911 I upgraded the door speakers and refoamed the rear speakers as I couldnt find a replacement that kept the oem grills. I have the factory Reno. Sounds ok at best, but I am keeping everything stock.

Default Classic radio

Porsche also makes upgraded rear speakers. I installed those as well. Most excellent
! I don’t really care about the Leaving it stock as my driving experience and enjoyment are more valuable to me.
the only investment a car is to me is my enjoyment

That might be the ticket. As long as it has USB and i can play my music...i'm good. Radio stations suck in my area.
