Default Clock plexiglass

Hi all, I wish to replace the clock plexiglass. any idea how to remove the white needle and the adjustment **** from the glass?

Hoooo boy, this is delicate. Assuming you have an earlier clock (mine is a 69)...

Pictures of the pin you have to remove are below, as well as the sequence of parts that make up the mechanism.

If you can, get the glass version from North Hollywood speedo, hole is precut. Much better than the plexiglass. A year ago they were out of stock so I bought a gauge glass for the Fuel gauge (same size), and bought glass drill bits and made my own hole.

Mine is 88 3.2. I think the mechanism is the same.

Default Tool for pin extraction

Hi, what tool u used to remove the pin? It seems that it is very difficult to get the pin out. Thanks

I think I used a thumb tack, while holding the **** in a vice with soft jaws.
