If anyone here is willing to have either a phone conversation or an email exchange with me:
I came across a 1981 EU 911, literally in a barn, but in excellent shape. It has absolutely NO paperwork, and an exceptionally odd story from the current owner. I'm trying to find out what kind of monumental PITA it might be to try and get title for this machine, having an EU "ZZZ" VIN and ZERO paperwork. According to the current "owner" he has never had a title to it, ever.
Exchange info via PM, located in Colorado, USA.
TIA

The first thing you should do is contact a registered importer listed on the NHTSA site. There is one that is currently on their site located in Colorado and is in Denver. The registered importer is Denver Truck Sales 303-291-0960. Registered Importers are tasked with inspecting and confirming that a vehicle can be licensed in the USA. Curt
