We've made some more progress on the roll bar, but we still have a lot more to do. We can't wait to show you all the technical details of our design.

We've also started to fit and trim the StreetFighter LA fiberglass panels for the interior of the car.

Rotors and finished calipers are back from StopTech – fully assembled along with a hand-painted logo.

We’re using the previous ’79 chassis we had to mock-up the interior panels and roll bar. We’ve made more progress on the interior:

Got our stripped steering wheel back from getting the cerakote finish – now its off to Carbone Liveries in Poland to get wrapped, along with a couple other goodies.

Also got this picture from Kinsler. The ITB setup is almost complete – waiting for the drive-by wire (DBW) motors to be installed next.

Things are taking shape.

Months of meticulous body work has been completed by Perry’s Custom Metal including the custom front bumper, rear bumper, decklid, and duckbill. The team at SV Auto just finished up incorporating the one-of-a-kind 959 gas cap location into the aluminum hood.

Custom roll bar is almost done – includes a removable harness bar that can be quickly installed if the need for a harness arises. Dash is coming together and we’ve got mock-ups ready for the pedals/floorboards from Chasing Js.

Our drive-by wire ITB setup from Kinsler also just came in the mail. Ready for Rywire Motorsports Electronics to wire it up.

Last week was a big week, as we were able to start putting together our engine and transmission along with the new Kinsler ITB setup.

We’re using a Porsche 996 GT3 plenum. We’ve modified it to fit a full Wiggins clamp assembly – shaving down all the unnecessary bosses and shortening the runners by 17mm each to accommodate the Wiggins weld ferrules. If you know anything about Wiggins clamps, you probably have only seen them in their signature purple finish – we were able to work with our plumbing and hose supplier, BMRS, who is a distributor of Wiggins, to get our clamps custom finished in black.

After the fabrication of the plenum, we’ve sent it out to first get polished and will be then sending it out to get cerakoted in our signature steel finish.

Full Kinsler assembly laid out.

Transmission, engine, and ITB setup all installed and ready for Rywire to come in and start mocking up the wiring harness for the Motec M130 drive-by wire setup. The engine case, transmission, and underside of the car have all been finished in factory slate grey.

Close-up of the custom intake plenum over the Kinsler ITBs.

Foam cutout representing CSF’s new ’73 RSR front bumper oil cooler that Wie’ll be receiving the first prototypes of next week.

More updates coming next week on the interior – Stay tuned and have a great Fourth of July!

Some updates on the interior.

We’ve worked with Rogelio's Auto Upholstery in Baldwin Park on our builds before, so it was a no-brainer to bring them on board for our 911. We first enlisted the help of Steady Garage to create a rendering using our Sparco SPX seats, which we then used to bring our vision to life.

Below are the materials we’ll be using for the upholstery – grey alcantara, grey leather, and Goyard bags that we will be pulling apart for the center portion of the seats.

A lot of fab work going down as we start to move towards assembly.

Another modern piece custom fitted for our car – this time a 991 GT3 titanium exhaust modified to fit our custom-made rear bumper.

Welded in-house by the team at SV Auto.

The custom roll bar we’ve shared before is now in its final stages.

We also got centerlock adapters made by Stanceworks Garage in Costa Mesa, CA – they’ll be used on our custom Rotiform wheels.

Ryan from Rywire Motorsports Electronics on his second visit to SV Auto, mocking up fitment to make sure everything fits perfectly for our drive-by wire setup.

Rogelio’s Auto Upholstery in Bladwin Park completely blew us away with the finished product on our seats for the 911. We wanted to do something different, but still classy…

We started with a blank Sparco SPX Carbon seat – then with the rendering we shared previously from Steady Garage (@fransclemente on IG)

We ended up using a combination of grey alcantara, grey leather (@mooreandgiles), and Goyard bags. About three of the bags were carefully cut and positioned perfectly vertically, horizontally and diagonally across the seat so the pattern always looks correct no matter which way they are viewed.

The first production sample of our ’73 RSR style center oil coolers is here These are slightly shorter and more narrow than our current IROC style oil coolers, also the fittings go straight back to clear the front tub.

This one specifically is finished in thermal dispersion space grey coating.

Here is a picture of the engine with engine harness 95% complete, fully installed – just waiting to fit the last few hoses on the car, which we just received from BMRS through Kinsler and Ed Pink Racing.

This is a proprietary hose kit for Ed Pink Racing, which BMRS has done for us in their “pro gold series” with black hoses and their signature gold collars.

It’s been 2 weeks since our last updates.

The car is now at Santana’s Auto Body in Ontario, CA – it’s been block sanded, all panels have been aligned, and it just finished getting primered.

A little bit more block sanding needs to be done before we shoot the exterior in paint with PPG materials, including “Glamour” clear coat. You’ll have to wait until our YouTube series to see the exterior color.

Along with selecting the exterior paint color, we also were deciding on the underbody and interior panel color. We’ve picked a color that complements the exterior and doesn’t stand out too much, but still draws attention to all of the quality suspension/brake components and the hard parts i.e. exhaust, headers, etc. Part of our marketing plan will include a video of the car on the lift so you can check out and learn more about all of the components that have been installed on the CSF 911.

We should have the car back from paint in the next 2-3 weeks – Stay tuned.

The last piece of the bodywork is the all-metal ducktail decklid.

The car is at Santana’s Auto Body – we spent a few hours there last week finalizing the color and can’t wait to share it with you.

We experimented with Porsche GT Silver (with and without a hint of maroon to tie in the burgundy interior), and also with and without a full Xpel Stealth wrap – not only to protect the paint, but also to add a different look to the vehicle.

…But we decided to go a different direction.
