As some of you may be aware, the 911 e-mail list has banded together to try to assist another Rennlist Member from having to sell their 911 SC due to personal financial conditions. I recently announced on that e-mail list that a Rennlist Sponsor – GHL - has graciously donated a SS Muffler in a “closed Auction” where 100% of the proceeds will go directly to Don S. Following is the original announcement (and the current “high bid” is less then $400!..!) Here is the text of the original post made to the 911 e-mail list. Good Luck!

GHL will donate a 1978-1989 stock replacement stainless steel performance Porsche muffler. This will be a closed auction and if you would like to bid on this muffler, please send your bid to John via: admin@rennlist.com .

100% of the amount raised will be used to help Don and his family. The retail price of this muffler is $775.00, so let your heart set the minimum bid.

The auction will start immediately and will end Jan 20, 02 at 11:59 pm. John will post and acknowledge the winning bid on Monday, Jan 21.
