I just bought PCNA's "photo/press car" for 1987, a Carrera coupe. In detailing it, I find several gummed state inspection stickers on inside of windshield. Manual emphasizes "no mechanical scrapers" of any kind lest damage to the plastic safety coating on the glass occurs. How can I get this stuff off the glass without damage? Thanks!

Try Wurth Citrus Degreaser. I have used it on the gummy residue of stickers on glass and metal with very good success.
