Just a quick note to let everyone know that the 911SC book is on schedule for release in late summer this year.
I managed to get a dear friend of mine, fellow South Australian and Rothmans-Porsche Le Mans winner Vern Schuppan to write the Foreword for this book. Vern has personally owned a 930, Speedster (3.2) and a 959 as well as his own 962CR.
Ciao,

Dear Ian,
Yes it is in the list to be done. The 993 is next then either the 996 or 3.2, I have not decided in which order just yet. I suspect the 3.2 will come next because the 996 is going to be a huge project.

Adrian,
I'm sure that all of your future work will become just as indispensible as your previous reference books. My vote is for the 3.2 book before the 996!
Keep up the great work, both in your book writing and your on-line assistance to fellow Porsche owners.
Thanks,
Tom

Dear Dave,
No I am afraid the earliest I am going is the 911SC. I have to be quite honest and say that I would not have gone back to the 911SC either but I made a spur of the moment promise to a fellow rennlister in Florida some years ago and I kept my promise. I would also say the 911SC was great fun and I learned a lot and I hope the readers will as well. Oh yes it also turns out that the 911SC is the favourite 911 of the owner of Bentley Publishers.
