So I need some help confirming what I have upfront and what options I have. The top of the dust cover is red/orange and the base is Marked BOGE. Assuming that it will take BOGE inserts but I think I read it would take KYB too? Thoughs, recommendations?

Correct me if I am wrong but I think the BOGE will accept any cartridge ie koni, steins, KYB etc...?

i put in off the shelf Bilstein sports all round when i bought the car and have been absolutely fine. Been driving on them for 15 years now , about 100K km and feel as good as the first day i bought them.. no track or anything like that , just a summer driver.
