did you source the metal fabricated pieces from Restoration design or somewhere else or fab it yourselves? Very nice work by the way. Removing so much rust is a pain. Beautiful colour too. Are the engine and interior ready? Great amount of photos showing all of the areas you had to work on. I am looking forward to seeing more photos. Thank you for sharing. I am curious how many people are working on the car and where are you located in the world?

Some of the metal parts come from Restoration Design, some we have to fabricate ourselves, some parts come from Porsche, the goal is to get the most correct look for the car and try to avoid excess work on modifying the panels to fit them on the body.

The engine and the interior are in the works at the moment, but we are keeping some of the original interior for the car (like rear seats, rear parcel shelf, rear side panels), the ones we have to replace we could not get to look nice, they were either broken or worn pretty badly.

On the car we have all together 6 workers (two work on metal, one preps the car for paint, one paints the car, two are responsible for different stages of assembly).

Our shop is located in Estonia, a small country close to Sweden and Finland.

Working on the chassis. As I mentioned, the more we dig in, the more work we find.

I really enjoy this! Thank you very much! I did a suspension pan replacement once, so I have a very tiny idea of the work that goes into properly restoring the metal work, and the scope of the work you have undertaken here is truly impressive and way beyond anything I could contemplate.

Oh, and that colour is great!!

This right here is one of my greatest pet peeves. The person(s) that perform amazing work like these are clearly educated and talented......yet somehow they do not receive the same level of societal recognition as a person with an accounting degree. The work here is astounding....knowledge of welding, metallurgy, project planning, the list goes on and on.....
I am in AWE and completely jealous! Best of luck in this and other projects! I wish I had the patience, skill. dedication and creativity to do something like this. You are truly an artisan.
Plus you are saving an older Porsche.....

Continuing on to the outer body shell. Have to spend time to make the panels and gaps fit perfectly.

Continuing to do great work. The attention to the small details is what sets quality work on its own - such as gaps and panel alignment. I still cannot believe how much is being done on the car. Wow. Keep it up

Continuing work on the outer panels. First need to get all the alignments right and then we can contsentrate on the gaps.

Repairing and fitting the parts continues. Still ways to go, before the body is ready for paint.

Starting to get closer to the end of the metal work. Still final details need to be fitted to the body.

Wow, I am very impressed with the level of detail and attention towards panel fitment. Nice work.
