Default New to 911’s seeking input on 2005

New to the forum and also new to the 911’s.
I'm looking at a 2005 Base with manual tranny, with 38K miles on it. I will be taking it to local Porsche dealer for a PPI.
I haven’t seen the carfax but have been told no accidents reported.
I’m aware of IMS bearing issues but I would like some advice on other things I need
to look for.
The car presents well and price is listed at $37K
Thanks in advance!
Please be brutally honest!
I want my first experience with a 911 to be a good one!

That's a water-cooled 997, you're in the air-cooled 911 forum. You need this forum: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-forum-113/

Good luck with your purchase!
