Def. won't be putting more than 3000 miles on it a year. So as long as they last 15K to 18K miles in 6 years, I will be happy.
I don't track the car, and we don't get snow down here in Houston, TX. I don't plan on driving it in rain either.

So I guess I will just get two more continentals for now.

Yesterday I had Continental Extreme Contact Sports put on my ‘84 Targa. Not much chance to drive it yet but so far they feel great. I’m in Houston too and you’re welcome to drive it.

f4 plt, funny I have the same car & wheels: “83 SC . I use 205/55/ 16 on the front mounted on 7 inch rims and 225/50/16 on the rear on 8 inch rims." mine is Schwartzmetalic
...and I am also looking for tires, will post what I find.
(actually waiting for my 8" wheels to arrive, ordered NEW FUCHS from Long Beach, CA via. Meinerzhagen ...takes awhile...)

I like the RE71R had those on the Miata, good tire. I miss the old SO-3's though, those were great,
had them on my M3 and my 911 super stiff sidewall, nice grip no squirm really good feed-back.
