Default 2019 911 T — best way find an allocation?

I was late to the party when it came to the 911 T. Today I have a 914 2.0, a 924 Turbo, and a 924 S and I never dreamed of building my own brand new Porsche.

When I learned about the idea behind the 911 T — a light weight special edition with a reasonable price point — I had to have one.

Problem is I can not order it! I’ve called 4 dealerships and everybody “doesn’t have any allocations for 911 T’s anymore”.

Does anybody know of a quick and easy way to run a report that would tell us if any dealerships across the country still have a 911 T allocation? Thanks in advance.

This is the wrong forum, but Stevinson Porsche in Littleton, CO still had one on the lot about 3 weeks ago.

Ok thanks, I’ll kill the thread. I am the FNG to this forum.

Regarding the T, I want to build mine from the ground up, not buy one that’s already done, however all the dealerships I’ve talked to have reached capacity of 911 T’s. I need to find a dealership that has 1 allocation so we can do my build.

Not sure if it will work, but maybe reach out to PCNA to see if they can let you know if there are some allocations left and then contact the dealer they identify. Worth an email.

Thanks RG88 great idea. I just DM’d Porsche on Twitter and they got a fast but with semi-vague response. They should get back to me on Monday — hopefully to point me in the right direction.

Try Porsche of Southampton, NY. I drove a nicely equipped Black one two weeks ago, but passed on it for now.
Give them a call.....(631) 283-0888.
Ask for Jason. Let him know that Tony D advised that you call.

Good luck on your quest. It would have been mine if I just had a bit more room....

He said......

....Sure sounds like he wants one.........
Just trying to help out!

Don't get jumpy. Just using up my lunch hour in a non-combative way.
Now I may have to go to my Safe Space!

Default Hate to break it to you

You will not be able to spec and order a T unless they make one again in a couple years on the 992 platform. I ordered my T in Decemeber, March Build, late May delivery, and it was the last one off the assembly line. Your only option is to scoop one up off a lot that is as close to your desired spec as possible. Be willing to travel to make the deal!

I think everybody is just trying to be helpful. The one in Denver is really nice, black, and I'd have bought it except I wanted a cab and the T is not available in that configuration. In the end, I went with a TurboS cab.

In the spirit of being helpful, imho, the car isn't exactly as billed.. its like 10lbs or some super small amount lighter than a base Carrera, otherwise just branding and marketing. Nothing special about the car compared to something like a GTS that has a powerkit, special wheels, trim etc. ymmv

I found my T!! You guys have been great, I really appreciate the comments, leads and suggestions along the way.

It’s a new car configured exactly the way I was hoping to configure it myself.... LWB, PCCB, RAS, LED w/PDLS, no leather, no sunroof, and no SportDesign Aero which means I don’t need the added weight of FAL to keep my front lip off the concrete. And no Bose or Burmester means no extra speakers or 10lb subwoofer.

Think I’ll install either Vektor or Kline header, and probably Kline exhaust (all those good details here https://bit.ly/32gBvE5 and https://bit.ly/2XyJ22t) with the eventual goal of 2,999 lbs and slightly over 400hp.

Stripped and ready to rip. Will post pics once she is in my garage next to a few very jealous 924’s 😮
