While my engine is out replacing my cracked air box, I'm replacing my inner cv axle boots as one side has a slight tear in it.
1) The exploded parts drawing shows only one gasket, - between the axle and the transmission, where mine had two, an additional one between the boot protection cap steel piece and the "joint piece" number 14A in the attached photo. I guess I do need the extra gasket?
2) The cup washer, 14B, in the drawing below - does it cup towards the transmission or towards the wheel?
