Default New to me 1970 911t

I recently purchased this 1970 911t and wanted to introduce myself on here. The car was repainted mahogany metallic in the 90s (originally, it was sepia brown), and although I initially was pretty set on repainting it a different color, it's actually a really interesting color due to the metallic flake that gives it a copper hue in the sunlight.

The car is well-sorted mechanically and cosmetically is in "driver" shape, which is exactly what I was looking for because the car will be driven, not stored in the garage all the time :-) The motor is 2.7 "RS-ish" spec (Webers instead of MFI), and with the M&K sport muffler, the sound and power delivery are awesome. Even though it's not fast by modern standards, it definitely feels quick especially when it comes "on cam" in the upper RPMs.

The main thing I'm planning to update soon is the seats. It currently has a set of mid-70s OE Porsche sport seats installed that are pretty comfortable but in need of some refinishing, and I have my eye on seats that look more like the early-70s sports seats. The GTS Classic seats look nice, but the Cobra Stuttgart looks nice as well and have the added benefit of going through Cobra's manufacturing and certification process. Anyone have experience with the Cobra seats?

Hope to cross paths out on the road with those of you in Northern California!

I like the color, no need to go through the cost and expense of a repaint. The stock sport seats in it now will probably find some replacements, or at least a good portion.

Thanks, all! Stephan is the owner/contact for GTS Classic seats, right? Their seats definitely look nice!

car looks great! color works!

I went with GTS classics for my 1969 seats. They look like Sport seat option of that period.
