Default 911 2.2 T 1971

Hi I have a question about how to set up timing in porsche 911 2.2 targa 1971. I think about camshaft setting, for example dial gauge etc? I have number 911/07 on my engine

ok, you have the engine apart and need to set the cam timing, right?

do you have the factory manuals?

You are timing the cams....like this? With the dial indicator? Or are you talking about something else?

go ahead and post in your native language - it may be we ar not picking up on some English usage here - e.g. "working" often means the engine is running on its own power

if the factory manual is not helping, can you get your hands on a Bentley manual? they only go back to the SC, but you can follow the general procedure there using the factory (workshop) manual to fill in

the Bentley manual assumes less knowledge hile the factory manual is written for mechanics who were already trained by the factory

THIS IS NOT SOMETHING YOU WANT TO DO WRONG so get a live human near you to help if need be

Haynes is NOT a factory manual. I can give you the specs but I would need your cam part numbers to give you overlap.
