Talking Finally! Pictures of the new '86 Carrera

Sorry if the picture got too big. The lighting is horrible where I have the car stored. Here is a picture that unfortunately doesn't do it justice. Can't wait until the spring!

I don't know, I think it looks pretty damn good! Is that guards red or something a little darker? Either way, very nice.

Thanks! The car is guards red with black leather. Factory options include: short shift, limited slip, Fuchs, sunroof, front and rear spoilers. Added upgrades include: SSI, 993 mirrors, 930 steering wheel, turbo tie rods. The car has only 33,500 original miles and was owned by a local PCA member. I have all the records dating back to the day of delivery including the window sticker. I plan on purchasing a new chip from Steve W so I can take full advantage of the SSI's, and 94 octane gas we can get in Michigan from our local Sunoco stations.

Brad

I hope you have a radar detector. That car looks fast standing still!

Enjoy!

Gorgeous car! I love the updated mirrors you have on the '86, makes the car look so much newer. I just bought some for my '85 and can't wait to put them on. Spring will be here soon enough and you'll be out enjoying the ride before you know it. Best wishes - Jay Gratton

Hi Brad

I've been trying to decide whether to put tear drop mirrors on my '89 "Turbo Look" Carerra - you've made up my mind for me, they look fantastic on your car!

I notice that your Fuch centre caps are painted red to match your wheels - did you buy them like that or did you hand paint them? My wheels and centres are white (with the coloured crest) but I'm struggling to find replacement centre caps off the shelf!
