Ask speednme. I thought his was a 76 could be a 77. His has this tail. The ones i have seen have either the tail shown or identical with the smaller cooler shown above.

IIRC this was a low mile original 76 and supposedly this is the original tail on the car.

Take a look in Ryan's 2.7 Carrera Book. If you don't have a copy you should buy one a lot of very good information on your car.

Corresponded with a helpful authority on UK site:
I got the spec from Porsche for several 1976 2.7 Carreras including yours which concurs with the COA with only the 5-speed gearbox as an option (no spoilers) As I mentioned on the forum none of the 113 cars have the spoiler option listed although at least one original dealer invoice shows it ordered with the spoilers.

That was my mistake thinking that the tail on the turbo for '76 was the same as what would have been put on my '76 Carrera by the dealership. Since the vehicles were produced so close together I thought that the tail might be the same or look the same.

Totally missed the fine print sorry.

I have this picture from the early 80's Orangeburg NY PCA Headquaters Concours. Timeless masterpiece. Closest I have.

I put the same tail on my 79 SC. Wish I kept that one.

GL in your search.
