Post NYC Metro area meetup 1/19/02

So far its mostly a 924/944/968 meetup, but I figured we might as well invite everybody else too.

It'll be at Chili's on Route 17 in Ramsey, NJ.

We have 8 (edit..make that 9) people so far, see the roster at: http://members.rennlist.com/adrial/P...20together.doc

Preliminary time is 1 PM, very subject to change.

I'm hoping to make this a pretty good sized meetup...

I thought having a porsche was good enough, now I find out that to be in the secret club, you can't have a job either?

Seriously, it sounds like fun, but you'd probably get more response on a weekend. Hope the weather holds for you guys. Enjoy!

Fellows:
Sorry I cant make the 19th. But it is a great idea.
I hope we can plan something for next summer as well. There are some excellent roads up-state...

Sure, it sounds like fun. Barring some unforeseen event, count me in. Maybe the George with the chevy and his ice-racing nemesis, BigPorscheGuy, will show up for entertainment.

What is the present status for Saturday's 1 p.m. meeting at Chili's? Do you have a snow date in mind (just in case)?

While weather conditions (unless extreme) won't keep me in, it will ground my '87 911, which I don't drive with salt and **** on the roads (one reason why the car still looks pretty good after 15 years). Of course, I'd prefer to show up driving my Porsche (which is, after all, the idea of this meeting), rather than a VR-6 ("winter car"). I would imagine that some of the others feel the same.

Let us know.
