Sounds like a very interesting car Chaz. I really like the Black/Dark Red combo. How do you like the whale tail on the cab? When I was considering the Carrera cab's, I always thought the whale tail just didn't look quite right. I love it on the coupes however.
In six months or so when the ice melts, I'd love to see it. Of course you'll probably sell it by then and have a 996.

Waybrig,
how are you?
I know what you mean, I had one on my 86 coupe and liked it. I'll have to see it in person on the cab. We will need to get together when the weathers nice. It will give me some time to get it modded the way I want.
Shame on you, I would never own a water pumper (no flames), they just don't do it for me!!
I've never owned a cab before, so this will be a new experiance.
All the best Waybrig,
let's definately get together when the sun comes out!!

This weather is driving me crazy Chaz. It's been 25 days and counting now since I've had mine out. I didn't plan on driving her much in the winter, just once every month or so to keep the cobwebs out. This has been the longest stretch so far.
So you don't care for the water pumpers huh? I guess you won't be interested in my new Carrera GT then. I'm no 996 fan either (the shape does nothing for me), from your signature it looked like you had already tried all the other modern 911's, so the 996 was the only one left.
I'm really looking forward to autocrossing more this year. I made it out about 3 or 4 times last year and finally started getting a clue by the end. Several of the PCA events are held close to you in Hartville. It would be nice to see another black cab out there too.
I'm going back to my hibernation now.
