Porsche 911 Carrera European Pre-Muffler Cat Bypass pipe
This application replaces factory catalytic converters with a straight-thru design for increased flow, resulting in more horsepower and improved throttle response. Some of the features include,

Great question, with the sport cat on that application, you will get minimal Hp gains, roughly 5-7hp. However it will open up your exhaust compared to your older factory Catalytic converter thus giving you louder tones, more free flowing exhaust, and still staying environmentally conscious!
Will my '88 911 3.2 pass CA smog tests with the sport cat?
Great question! We have thousands of customers with our sport cats out in California that pass the Smog test. However our Sport cats are currently not C.A.R.B certified. We are currently in the process of getting our certification.

Replaces factory catalytic converters with a straight-thru resonated European design for increased flow, resulting in more horsepower and improved throttle response.
SOUND:
Getting rid of the factory catalytic converter will dramatically increase the volume of your exhaust and release more of that signature air-cooled flat 6 sound. A straight-through resonator is incorporated into the design so you won't get any of that rasp associated with straight piped cars.
POWER:
An excellent way to increase power on your classic 911. On our DynoJet we saw peak curve gains of 21 whp and 17 ft/lbs of tq at 4500 RPM, and maximum power increases 16 whp and 16 ft/lbs of tq.
