Transmission Fluid 915
How often you guys change it? I haven't had car serviced in almost 2 years, so its due for an LOF and i'm thinking transmission too. Note that the mileage is very minimal, unfortunately only able to run her 1,200 miles a year as of late. I used to be able to service the car annually, when I kept it in main home, before shipped her out to vacation home. Therefore, it was up to my local mechanic to let me know when it was time. Lost track of that now...
And what happened to signatures?! Seem to have disappeared and nothing in CP either.

when mileage is very minimal you need to rely on time - I checked all over and got no clear answers, even after writing to the technical guys at Swepco
so I go by the shelf life for low miles/yr cars - that means use Swepco and do it every 5 years; or 7 if you want
I tried to contact automotive museums, but never got any responses from them at all...
if you've just rebuilt it, or bought a car with - shall we say - "unknown gear oil provenance" then accelerate the change interval

Nordschleife Master
I wouldn't change it yet either. I agree with the 5-7 year on a car like that.
Signatures are gone because we are "users" who don't pay to be IB members.

That's interesting that you did not get a answer for Swepco . I am a Sepco rep , if you have any questions feel free to ask me and I will to my best to find a solution .

TRUE TEST
A true test to detrmine drain Interval .Swepco offers a third party LOA .This analysis will not only give you metal levels .But also shows how the additives package is withstanding conditions. It is a true 23 point analysis that you receive in 2 days approximately. Every situation is different as you know .nobody's condition and set up is exact ..This is why you can' t get a definite answer . This LOA is inexpensive in the big picture . If you like to purchase this on your own or split it with 2 or more other people it will give your the correct answer as to when to drain your gear lube , engine oil , or a hydraulic fluid . If you would like more information you can contact me at carmggoodrich@gmail.com
