Default In the market

The Porsche bug has a hold of me and potentially looking for an SC or Carrera coupe. Unique color would be nice, but no red or black. Familiar with these cars as I owned an 88 491 cab in the past and currently own a 993. This car will join my 993 and 997.1 GT3. Any leads and/or advice would be appreciated. I found my 993 here and this forum is a great resource. In no rush and as most of us say, the search is half the fun. Cheers
Chris

am new here, but I have been looking for a 87-89 Coupe for a while and secured one last week. I considered this car. Color was my only issue. It was a personal choice.

I see you picked this one up in DFW. Are you local to DFW? If so, hope to see you and the car at upcoming PCA events.

No I did not purchase the car in the link. I did consider it a great deal. I pick up one in IN, but yes I live in north Texas. I'll be wrenching for several months before I get out anywhere.

Thanks AG81. That's a very clean car and also unique. I question the color too but really like the interior. Big plus on the sport seats! Would have to see it in person. Asking price seems strong. Are G body coupes selling for more than 993 these days? I paid $50K for a 38K mile 95 993 2 years ago.

993 Prices are crazy high..... I priced 993's at 15-20% over a equally nice 3.2 - G50 car. I was looking at cars from $40,000 to $65K. If you don't spend at least 35K your buying a lot of issues. That is based on looking at over
150 cars in various parts of the US. I flew to 4 cars out of state.

Tough market right now in that range of years, the best cars command really high prices and lesser cars seem to have lots of problematic issues. Its difficult to find a middle ground. Holt in PA has some nice mid year cars.

^^ Apparently. Inventory is much lower than 993 as are prices. I look forward to the search and if anyone is selling or knows of a clean, no stories, documented car feel free to PM me. Thanks

Chris, if your willing to reconsider red; check the '87 on BringATrailer. I know the seller and have seen the car...its a nice one.

Thought I found my car in San Diego but decided to pass. Still on the hunt.
