Default Need advice on door panel

Hi, I have just bought a 1977 and the passenger door panel was on the back seat. Does anyone know a link or can give advice on refitting it. I'm not sure all the fixtures were with it. So nor sure where to start. Any help would be helpful.

Well, Dave, I see that you've been around here for a while, so, I suppose it would seem unnecessary for me to suggest the 'search' function.... but maybe not. Porsche 911 doors are pretty straightforward and maintenance (or modification) is pretty much just taking your time and attention to detail. I would suggest heading over the the Pelican 911 Technical Forum and 'searching' around for the countless threads that deal with this very issue. Also, the 'exploded' view here ( http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-p...section=807-10 ) might be some help. keep smilin'

great time to work on the door inards...

the rubber block you will find loose at the bottom after clean out all the crud is a stop for the window

check for rust and treat it

clear the weep holes

lube moving parts

see if the crank spring anchor broke off...
