After viewing a number of red "made in China" fuel pump relays, I decided to go to my Porsche dealer to spend the extra money, almost double on what is offed on ebay, for a Porsche original equipment relay.
When I took it out of the box to install it, lo and behold, it was made in China! Very disappointed to see that, not to mention paying double for it to be boxed in a Porsche labeled box!

They're all Chinese these days. If you can find one with a TUV label it "may" be made to a higher standard. American Zettler is one but they're made in China too.

Chinese manufacturers can make as cheap as you like or as close to perfect as you're willing to pay for. Just like here or anywhere else.
