I wish I had the skill and talent to do a build like that. Awesome.

Default Talbot Yellow, Code B7B7

The original photo of the two Porsches above is a bit faded, but the color appears to be Talbot Yellow (Exterior Paint Code B7B7). My spouse 911SC is an original paint Talbot Yellow Coupe.
The other close exterior paint color would be Bahama Yellow, but that exterior color is more pale.

This is not to hijack the OP's thread as to his "mild restoration," which I and others will continue to follow. Love what has been done so far on the Porsche of the OP

I'm not completing the work that requires any huge amount of talent, that side of the project belongs to Chris Moore. My part in this is, disassembly, cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning, then the fun part reassembly. As long as you have a decent place to work, the right tools, an endless amount of patience, the 911 shop manual, PET, Google and plenty of beer, then something like this is within the abilities of most of us on this forum. Oh and of course realistic expectations of the costs, by which I mean don't even think about it ;-)

Default Pictures

Do you have pictures of the engine teardown that would show all the hose, tubing, wiring connections. I have my 911 engine out (and rebuilt) and did not take pictures and my memory is fading. Some step by step photos w/b helpful. Your car looks great.

I remember well when these were brand new. Terrific cars! That's mine on the left--1981 911SC that had been turbocharged.
Hey Dan, do you know what color code your car was?

Thanks,
