Default Hardwire the HVAC blower fan motor

Not sure if the blower fan motor is working on my - 74 911. Either I have not connected the wires right, or the fan motor is not working. To actually test whether the motor is working, I tried to hardwire the connection in the front directly to a battery, but with no response.
Not sure these connectors are the right one to actually test the fan is working?
Any other suggestions?

That appears to be the fresh air blower not the AC blower. If you want the AC blower it is located in the smugglers box, and the speed resister pack is located in the front of the passenger foot well.
If you have the correct fan housing i believe you will need to connect both a +12 and a ground as the fan is not directly grounded. You will need to look at the harness plug to determine which pin is which. You need to connect +12 the the pin associated with the white wire and ground the pin associated with the brown wire.
