Default What dash lights are brighter?

There is a Pelican article about getting brighter lights for your guages. Where do you buy these little guys?

My guages are so dark at night.

I also find the guage lights to be quite dim. Brighter bulbs would be nice.

I agree,First night I drove it, I made a note to myself to change out all the old lamps, one speedometer lamp was out and I thought that that was part of the illumination problem. Replaced them all and while better I still would like them brighter. Anybody upgrade to a higher wattage bulb?

First time I put the lights on at night I thought the instrument lights were shot! I saw the article on Pelican, installed new bulbs and it hardly made a difference. If there are any suggestions out there please post them...

I found the same thing as classic911. Checking around, this seems to be the norm....

Guys, the article from Pelican says "replace with higher wattage bulbs". Seems good to me, but where do you get these?

It's either that or I'm going with the "heads up display"

I'm from 951 land. A 951 needs the REFLECTORS in the cluster replaced as they are corroded and no longer shiney.

Replace the reflectors, put in 5w bulbs from autoparts store or dealer, instead of 3w, and you have a marginal light, but better than before. NA 944's have eluminescent guages available, but not 951.

The other htought is white guage faces, which will be easier to read.

I do not know if this is relevant to 911, just passing on info.
