Default A Good Buy for Someone - 1988 Cab

I ran across this on Auto Trader:

1988 911 Carrera Cabriolet

I talked to the owner & it sounds like a really nice car for someone.
74K, new clutch, recent valve tightening, new top, driver's seat recovered, very small interior issues. Has owned 7 yrs & was daily driver for 1st 4. In Bradenton FL.

A nice guy who knows his car but never drives it. And the price at $18K is excellent. I am/was very, very tempted but . . .

It's Cassis Red. I just couldn't live with that color.

It will be a great drive for someone. If anybody wants contact info or a better pic etc - PM me.

Ian

BTW I'm not a shill, it just looked like a good buy . . .

Nice car, great price but that colour is way too feminine for most males to want to drive it.

Thanks guys.

It's nice to see that I'm not alone in my 'aversion' to a 'pinky-purply' 911.

Ian,

You're right that is a good price...

but perhaps it's because of the color

My neck of the woods - and yes, I think he has been trying to sell it for awhile. Nice price - hate the color.

Actually when I saw the color I thought to myself, maybe for my wife.... Low miles, new clutch, G-50 tranny, records......

Since it is a Cab, maybe the color won't look so strange with dark sunglasses....

Anyway, it is a great price.
