Default Help on pricing 1999 911 C2 modified

I'm considering purchasing a 1999 911 Carrera C2 6 spd manual from a family member and I need some help determining a fair price.

He's had the car for around 10 years and acquired it after the IMS went out. The engine was replaced with a new factory engine and now has 5,000 miles on it. It's in very good condition with the following mods:

- Full factory GT3 suspension
- GT2 nose
- Techart side sills
- Turbo bumber
- GT2 spoiler
- Champion forged 19 inch wheels
- BBK short shift
- Fabspeed exhaust & cat delete

I've been looking around and prices range from $5k for a trashed example to $20K for pristine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You have landed in the air/oil cooled 911 section. You want to look in the water cooled 996 section.

Sounds like a fun car.

Make sure you educate yourself on the IMS bearing......

Finding link for you....go there:

No problem. My sister in law has the same car but with a TIPtronic tranny. I've looked into selling it for her and that TIP sucks.

Again, IMS.

The IMS caused the first engine failure and he owns two other 911s. We've discussed the IMS a lot and I feel comfortable with this engine.

Thanks!
