How much color affects value is somewhat dependent on the make and model. Ferraris, for instance, usually only get full value if finished in Rosso Corsa. Fly Yellow is close though, and I actually prefer that on some Ferraris. But blue Ferraris, or grey, get discounted. Sometimes to a large degree.

A longhood 911 in Olive or Aubergine or Signal Orange gets a premium. But a Cayenne in a M&M candy color...not!
