Default Fire extinguisher center mount options?

Any good options for mounting a fire extinguisher either behind the shifter (between and slightly behind front seats) or in front of the shifter on the center tunnel? I have a 79' SC with WEVO shifter and no center stack and RS carpet kit. Thank you in advance!

You can mount in either of those places, however take care that you do not drill into the fuel line or any of the cables or wiring (not much) running through the tunnel. Also, Buckley Racing in Texas makes a center mount that set the extinguisher in the center of the seats just kind/sorta above the hand brake.

Very easy to mount it on the access plate behind the parking brake. I bought a second plate and stored the original access plate if I ever want restore my car to the way it rolled out of the factory.

Mount it above the brake with this bracket from Buckley if you have the width....http://www.buckley-racing.com/products.html
