Default Center lock will be changed by dealers soon

I was chating with porsche workshop manager and he said that he received today from porsche to start ordering new wheel center locks with new specifications and user manuals with new instructions.

So I am waiting for the offical call to replace them soon

I checked today and there is no new TSB regarding wheels and C/Ls.

Last manual for US was printed 28 Oct 2010 and there is no new specific warranty exclusion clause for wheels for track usage.
Of course it still has the old mind-boggling contradiction:

actually I did not ask for change but when he checked his email he found this announcement, it seems the new CL will have new label or mechanism and he ordered new CLs for his customers and once they arrived he will call them.

Lets see when they arrived (two weeks approximately) I will share with you guys.

Remember, I am talking about dealer in the middle east.

Seems to me you are better off staying with the old system that has you covered in the manual, unless your manual says different than the one for the US.

Checked latest PET and indeed it shows new locking mechanisms for GT3 and GT3RS old ones have the letter U in front of them that means deleted parts.

Same change for GT2 RS / turbo / etc
