Tried what people are reporting in the 718 forum to disconnect it because all it adds is drone... https://rennlist.com/forums/718-foru...other-way.html
doesnt look like we have the 7.5Afuse in the trunk Or the control module in the trunk either. Ripped the trunk apart as well as behind the seats. Its prob in the engine bay? Faaaaak

Do the GT even have that???

you might want to plug that pipe w/some foam if you believe its connected to the engine compartment...

There was a video posted on here that implied that the Spyders had it but not the GT4s.

yeah i put a sock in it lol


Cabin is a noticeably quieter but little effect on boom from valves disconnected between 2-3k. More civilized above 3k. Less fakeness

On the 991s people just put a towel in the tube. Problem solved.

This is what the sound tube looks like in the engine bay... from pca video




the regular 718 with the 4 poppers have a different one its electronic (with a fuse). The spyder one is acoustic. If i ever get in the engine bay im disconnecting that ****. ****’s about to get real loud very soon
