Default Spyder RS Street Tire

Just picked up my Spyder RS and broke it in, driving it back 1100 miles from PEC ATL to Eastern Long Island. Great trip and perfect road car, but I don't think I need the Cup 2s for the street(and I can certainly use another set for my regularly tracked GT4RS). Would like any thoughts about other tires. It's cold here in winter, but doesn't snow much. There's the PS4 of course. But has anyone tried A/S tires like the Michelin PSAS4 or the Conti Extreme Contact DWS06+?

PS4S or Conti 7 are the best two tyres imo, I prefer the PS4S myself having used both.

Personally would never do A/S. They have to be quite a bit harder. Tire is very very important for a car’s performance. Just to P4S. I drove P4S all year around. (But my location the lowest temp you get is like 40 degree)

CONTINENTAL EXTREMECONTACT SPORT 02

You can thank me later. Much better than the PS4S especially in the wet and cooler temps.

+1 vote for Continental 7. Wet performance in particular.

Have you guys who have used conti 7 In the wet really think they are better than PS4S’s

I thought they were much worse when hitting standing water. I did not replace my conti 7, and went back to the PS4S.
quiter, better ride, better hitting standing water, last MUCH longer, good all the way down to legal limits.

conti 7 only better for me on dry turn in, that’s it. PS4S still the every day tyre to beat imo.
