I wonder if I got your allocation. My salesperson at Pfaff contacted me end of January and I also didn't have much time to decide before the build locked.

By your picture, I thought you were out west.

Where was that photo taken?

My profile pic? South of France somewhere during European delivery of my Spyder. I’d love to drive those roads again some day.
@Angryinch if you aren’t dying to get into an SRS no matter what, perhaps take the chance on waiting for another buildable allocation? Looks like there’s at least a year of production left.

I will likely grab the grey or black, I like the specs.
I wanted to take it on a rally that is booked for the beginning of sept. Top down, flying through the Rocky Mountains!

How do you guys deal with the sun blasting you with the top down? Does the visor provide a bit of relief when flipped up or how is the perspective from inside the cab?

Thanks good to know! I usually wear a hat in the sun.
Do most guys keep the top down 24/7 and use the car like that or are guys running it all the time, rain or shine?
Car actually looks pretty good with the top up as well.
Does anyone have pics of their car that has been delivered in Vanadium Grey and or Black w/ WP package? Id love to see some real life pics.
Cheers

Came from a ‘22 TTS (drove her about 20,000 miles) and am now in a 718 Spyder base. While the Spyder is fun and has its advantages…the 992TTS was just on another planet all together. Don’t know that you will be impressed.

Just have to manage the expectation. It can turn out to be one of the two:
A: The RS is engaging and fun. Take it out only in good weather with the roof off is such a unique experience. Single-purpose toy to enjoy the drive. Love it.
B: The RS is loud but slow vs. the TTS. The roof limits its use case big time. You have to plan on parking and weather before driving it. Can't enjoy the car whenever I want. Hate it.
Even though I only plan to use it as a point A-A toy, I constantly have concern that the limited use case may get tiring someday. If there are really 4 SRS coming to PFAFF unspoken for, the used car value may not be pretty should I decide to sell it back.
Random question - anyone thought about the R8 RWD Spyder instead? 2023 left over seems to be a steal.
