10 Day trip through Swiss, Italian, and French Alps plus Monaco, Cannes, and French and Italian wine regions. It was a boxster 718 GTS 4.0. I have 718 Spyder so specific boxster luggage will come in hand for more road trips here in NA. Lots of hotels - travelled with my wife. As alluded to, we ordered luggage specifically for 718 Boxster. Soft bags, 2 of 3 have wheels and extendable handles like a roller bag. Not sure if frunk is smaller on SRS. Video doesn’t show it, but in rear trunk also had room on both sides of bag and put bottles of wine and olive oil on both sides - so bag take up full trunk - they were bubble wrapped. Anyway here is video. I hope it helps folks out there planning road trips.

Spyder RS frunk capacity is 4.4 cu ft Vs 5.3 cu ft in GTS 4.0 due to difference in front axle, so slightly smaller. The trunks are very nearly the same.

Thanks why I want to be certain. The 4RS/SRS offer a FAL, which I don't think is offered on the GTS models. I think that is why the frunk is smaller.

Can someone with an SRS in their possession please measure this distance indicated with the blue line? Both with and without the little bag for the second part of the roof?
(I will likely just place that roof bag on top of the luggage)
It looks like the latch assembly would significantly limit space for any hard carryons in the trunk.
Thank you

I don’t think it’s the FAL, it’s the duct work that makes the frunk smaller.

Weird. I thought the trunk and trunk space is identical across all of the 718 Boxster models. Just did a euro trip with my wife using a Boxster S and a SRS. Didn’t notice any space differences up front…
