Everything I HATE about the GT4RS [Video]
Just wanted to share my thoughts on the GT4RS after having it around for over a year now and doing a Euro Delivery with it. Cheers! For prospective buyers... jump in! You're in for a LOT of FUN.

Min 1:22. I knew Luke was fake the min he made up this lame excuse about why he bought and sold a car. Bro just come clean, what's the real reason? We still don't know. Cause it ain't the noise and it aint the fact you can't daily it. Dog maybe, but then again they are best suited for pickup trucks here in the states. Not sports cars.
4RS is a legend.

He made an easy $100k on that car. Put it into the only RS that’s lowest on depreciation curve (not knocking it btw), and drove off into the sunset with a 3RS and padded pockets. I wish he would have just said that. Game is game. Cash is cash. To blame it on the noise?? And his dog? Then gets a 3RS and puts an EXHAUST on it. Nearly fell back over in my chair Vince McMahon style.
4RS is a legend and I’m happy I got to sip from the cup. My literal only complaint is that it’s too fast (for me). But if you live next to the Nurburgring… you’re going to have some of the most fun days of your life.

I've said it before but I'll say it again...the GT4RS is not that loud. Anyone that is used to Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren will agree. It's become a red herring for people that want to convince you they don't like or don't want the car (reality is; can't get the car, can't afford the car, etc.).
The majority of "real world" people I've met that said its too loud have only driven other Porsches. Nothing beyond to truly compare it to.

100% agree. My Huracan is quite a bit louder than my 4RS. My kids ask me to put the Huracan in Strada but click the button to open the exhaust flaps in 4RS EVERYTIME! And I drive it to work 3-4 times a week. It’s an awesome car that I plan on keeping for a long time.

Mine was 105 peak. For a second or two unless you're just holding 9k and not shifting....
https://rennlist.com/forums/718-gts-4-0-gt4-gt4rs-spyder-25th-anniversary/1356744-gt4rs-interior-noise-levels-max-105db.html
normal driving:
45mph, 80db w/active exhaust on(I don't remember what gear it was in, but I think this elevated db level is capturing the drone)
70mph, 74db w/active exhaust off70mph
76db w/active exhaust on(70mph quieter than 45mph, again less drone at higher speeds)
When I measured against a normal coupe and convertibles with top down, GT4rs was pretty much in between.

Exactly. You’d have to be mechanically unsympathetic and just hold the gear at redline to experience auditory pain. Which, is so unrealistic. Most drivers on a 45 min backroad drive might only click that last 200rpm a couple of times.
and again, it’s such a symphonic theatrical event for the 0.1 seconds that you’re grinning ear to ear.
