definetly enjoy that ability as long as you can. I'm 38 and due to medical reasons i can no longer drive manual cars without risking massive pain from my ankles. It's disappointing as i learned how to drive on a manual when i was 16 and all my cars up till 2022 were always manual. Luckily Porsche makes an amazing PDK. and so i'm happy with that. But will always miss being able to row my own gears.

I ordered a manual but with this car if someone told me sorry PDK only, I prob would have still taken it, it is a different but I would say equally as good experience with the amazing PDK, launch control, kick down, it just gives you a great sense of occasion even without having a clutch and shifter. I don't think you could go wrong either way, and I know the PDK helps with the long gearing as well.

Nice! I remember that when the car hopped on the boat was what felt the longest. Part of me is hoping for the car to get here sooner but another part of me is hoping for it to be a bit later so that some of my stocks can vest for a bigger down paymeent haha

Based on the market of late, I wish I had paid for it two weeks ago

Congrats, you'll be the first to report.

Odd that your freeze got moved up. What change(s) didn't make it before freeze?

Please tell me about your radar detector. For some reason my car has trouble with speed limits. I look away and it starts to gain speed. I’m still breaking it in so trying to stay under 4000.
I am so happy with this thing , got the grey leather with Genetian blue. It’s not what it can do it’s that everything it does is so easy. Drop a gear and go. Still thinking about rev match. I would always use it on the track but on wet or slippery roads I think it’s very usefull.
But I bought it for the sound , so far so good , but I’m so ready to wind it out.

The changes I made on March 27th all appear in the build, which apparently locked March 21st

So changes accepted, then a few days later, lock date changed to a date in the past. So weird.

reminds me of when i was waiting for my GT4. I remember when production was stated to start beginning of October. That day came and went, and 3 days later all of a sudden i get a notification that the car is on its way to Emden Port.

mine is still holding strong at delivery being 7/19. I guess i cant really ask for anymore as build is locked and production looks to start beginning of May. The interesting thing is it states that the end of production to be 5/30. Which seems like a long time for the car to be in production as my GT4 entered and left production in about a weeks time. I wonder if they are including the time it takes for the car to also make the trip to Emden

I am surprised by this as well. I don't remember my 992 taking a month to be built.
