Hoosier R7 on GT4 RS
#2
Aren't those factory sizes? Hoosiers may be a little beefier than Cup2's but should fit just fine especially if you've added extra camber. What's the concern here? Why don't you expect them to fit?

Reviving this thread - anybody having experience with Hoosier R7s in stock sizes care to comment? I'm very tempted. On my RS, I currently have -3 degrees up front with camber plates, -2.5 degrees in back with shims and toe links. With other cars I'd think that's not enough camber, but given how short the sidewalls are on these to fit the stock 20s, maybe they'd work ok? And what about pressures?
Again, I'm only interested in stock wheels. I have another set of wheels, too, in stock sizes.

For 265/35-20s standard tires are too tall and completely throw off PSM for the car, meaning no stability control. I think the Hoosiers are shorter and they may work better. And yes, a little more camber would work better for these tires, which necessitates the need for camber plates, both front and rear. Make sure your front tires are at least .2 inches shorter than the rears.
