Just make sure as you watch the ODO turn over at 932 that you look up before you pin the throttle!

932mls / 1500km. Its the running in schedule for the engine. Do not exceed 7k rpm before this schedule is complete, and certainly do not redline @ 9k.

The car will tell you every-time on start up anyway.
Observe running in schedule in blue.

You would think if they can program in a warning tied to a mileage counter they could program the rev limiter to 7K as well during break in miles. That would make things much easier and give used buyers more peace of mind.

Very true, I thought I had initially once heard that was the case and that it was soft limited to 7k, for the running-in …. but seems like that is an internet myth.
I guess they don’t restrict the car because you might need the revs.
Imagine you are carrying speed and then need to do a hard stop, on the brakes… this car will down shift through about 10gears in 1sec.
if you’re not expecting it, it’s initially a little shocking! Bystanders may wet themselves.😂
