The Spyder RS Production and Delivery Discussion Thread

PTS in Underberg Green. I really love British Racing Green but it felt weird to order the same colour as my previous 718 Spyder again. I do like the slightly darker stealth build, though, since the car is loud enough already . Estimated April-June 2024 delivery according to MyPorsche.

I asked my dealer to ask Porsche about the extended deviated stitching. We were told that if you go with the extended deviated stitching you are forced to get sofa seats and that the configurator is wrong. If you select extended deviated stitching in the online configurator it shows you can get buckets with black seat inserts. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
Thanks

Congrats to those that have secured one of these cars, it will be one for the ages IMO. Look forward to seeing some footage and reviews from actual owners soon.

This wasn’t my experience at all.
I submitted several builds (buckets with alternate stitching). They bounced at my dealer.
I went in and sat at his desk and entered my build into his dealer version of the configurator. The Dev Stitching has a note which says “cannot approve before Dec 14 (or some date close to that). It flat out tells you that you can’t enter dev stitching orders in advance of fhat date. If sofas figure in, that’s news to me.

My PTS build is locked, however, Porsche Canada agreed to unlock it so I could add deviated stitching in blue with blue belts and door pulls. They also offered to open my locked PTS 3RS build.
So, if you have recently locked, reach out to your SA and you might be able to make last minute changes.

When I submitted my build today, my deviated stitching was bounced as well. I have a temp build in place until that mid December unlock.🤞🏼
