Oh I thought PECLA handles delivery straight from the port and it won't have to pass through your dealer. But either way, you should be on a similar timeline as there's 4 ships in september that go from Emden to TX.

Thanks. This is true if you're registering your car in California with PECLA delivery but because I'm registering mine out of state but doing PECLA delivery it comes through the Houston port then gets shipped to PECLA.

Not sure what it says about my addiction that when I see the chart I recognize most of those ships and wonder to myself whatever happened to the Supreme Ace and what did he do to get himself replaced by SFL Composer?! I need details.

For folks in the US... Has anyone received their MY25 SRS yet? I know it's highly doubtful, but I thought I'd ask. The reason I'm asking is because I know that CARB certification has to take place for new model year and that always adds to the delay in the delivery process, but if someone has already taken delivery, then it might not be an issue.

I'm actually VIN 001 for MY25 and mine just finished production but has not yet reached the port. I will assume no one is ahead of me(I didn't do PTS and have a normal color/spec) for MY25 delivery, you make a good point about CARB certification though.

This makes me feel a lot better....I am 055, also a MY25 and entered production at the beginning of the week.

My VIN was so different than everyone else's, I sort of wondered if I was actually getting a base Macan in baby blue with tan interior...

I have a car that just got to emden today scheduled to depart between 9/9 and 9/28. Sounds like a ride on amethyst ace, marvelous ace, emden or Wolfsburg.

How do you figure out which one you get on?

Also, how backed up is emden currently?

Many thanks!

Look up "TYD Hack" here on Rennlist. Once your TYD updates you that your car has been loaded onto a ship, you follow the TYD Hack instructions to find out which ship, and then you can use marinetraffic.com or vesselfinder.com to track the ship on its journey.

Yep. This was the only bird in the hand. I had a lot of potential backups, but none firm at the moment.

I just committed in White. I've had Porsches -- all white -- for one month short of a decade now. Turns out I'll have some form of a white Spyder (now RS) for 50 years after all.
As an update, the local dealer never confirmed with documentation, nor wouldn't.

Through a broker, I ended up securing a (non-PTS) car I'm currently tracking, for LESS money (incl. finder's fee) despite the car being in one of the best markets for Spyders. Including flight and shipping it'll be break-even with what was originally being discussed locally.

Based on current timeline I expect it to arrive in Boston area mid-to-late January, so it'll be getting paint corrected, PPFd, and other things done since it'll mostly sit in a garage until the roads aren't icy/slushy/salty garbage so I can blitz the 2000 break-in miles on it.

Though until it is being loaded onto the enclosed truck... "it ain't yours yet." I'm aware. Looking like it's taken care of, but it'll be another 4 months before I can officially say I got it done at a fair price despite basically zero brand history.

Having a 001 VIN is pretty cool

My VIN is 746.
Production completed on 8/22.
Arrived at the port on 8/23.
Departed the port on 8/24.
Arrived at local entry port in RI on 9/5

It appears my car is amongst the last of MY24.

Someone educate me on his. Based on the VIN, it seems about 750 SRS produced for MY 2024.

But is that 750 cars for just the US? 750 SRS for North America? 750 worldwide?

Looks like we maybe production neighbors. Though am taking delivery in D.C. metro area. Very jealous you can take your SRS around SoCal esp to Sunset Cliffs. That would be a dream!
