How to adjust caster on GT4RS?
#2
You cannot with OEM setup. it has solid caster pucks in the LCAs, not adjustable ones.
You either need to replace the OEM caster pucks in the LCA with adjustable motorsport or aftermarket pucks… for full range of direct adjustment.
or use motorsport camber plates which are offset for better caster anyway. But you won’t have full direct adjustability there, just different range of derived caster.
Tbf, even 991 RS didn’t have adjustable caster pucks from the factory.

Well to get full adjustment of caster… I remove the OEM part as above and then fit these motorsport parts.
Pretty sure is it the same for all the 9x1 Generation and 982.
Your image above clearly calls out the Elephant Racing part as adjustable. Doesn’t say the same for the OEM bush. Maybe the point is that the OEM part could be adjusted but not easily. You have to push the part out, rotate to desired position and then press it back in…. Technically adjustable, but not really practical unless you just must stick with 100% OEM stock parts.

As I call it? Lol. Not sure what you mean there, but car was converted by MR partner, with full kit and received MR accreditation, what else should it be?
Anyway…
718 GT4 comes with rubber bushed part as highlighted
4RS comes solid mounted part…. With no rubber bushing, but I believe still single hole… as per 991.2 RS. See below…
GT4 RS Front LCA

OK, you extrapolated from your converted GT4 to the GT4RS with the help of a picture from a 991.2 GT3RS which looks like the adjustment holes are different than the ER version.

This is what comes on a factory 4RS street car. Front has multiple holes and can be rotated. Rear can be rotated.

I guess if someone has the car they could have just looked underneath and figured it out.

Check 15m15 in the latest savagegeese 4RS video.
Of course we now know the angle however is incomplete.

Thanks Tom. As I suspected. You could see the second eccentric hole in numerous pictures, which would mean adjustable. It is also nice to have it on the rear to play with the wheel base and or just get the wheel back to center if adding a bunch of shim. Will be playing with all of this soon.

Has anyone succeeded in adjusting caster using the stock equipment ? About how much adjustability did it give you?
I’m looking to add -2.7 camber to the front on my GT4RS and trying to figure if I need adjustable thrust arm bushings to fix caster.
Thanks!

Even my alignment shop said they didn't know how to adjust those.
Besides, they said, 10 degrees of caster is apparently reasonable. With the camber plates and the shims, the front was -3.3 degrees of camber and -2.6 in the back but it definitely increased caster from 9 to ~10 degrees.
