Default Developing the GT4RS, Dundon Style

HI Guys,

Just wanted to share our latest Youtube video on where we're at on the GT4RS development, Custom Dundon MCS 3 way dampers, a bunch of suspension arms in the works, full Valkyrie Aero (swan neck wing, Carbon Splitter, Dual Dive planes, with more smaller and nuanced bits coming).

Where we started:

Where we're at!

We have some more testing to do Aug 3rd, Adding the PFC brake 380/380 kit and Forgeline 19" shod in 265/305 Goodyear SC3R rubber. Car is leaps and bounds better than stock.

Any questions shoot us an email at Sales@dundonmotorsports.com

Definitely agree with your verdict on the chassis needing 'help' in order to allow the car to actually be fast, and composed.

Looking forward to watching the journey,

Nice, really good to see you pushing the limits of the platform for track driving.

I'm assuming you changed offsets in order to accommodate the front PFC caliper.
Why 19"? With those brakes you could have gone 18s (My original plan until I saw the OEM wheel had interference with the PFC caliper.

Offset didn’t change still ET 52 but spoke clearance did.

19” for access to both sticky street rubber (SC3R) as we like to drive on the street and slicks if we want to later (Pirelli DH)

What is going to be the clearance between the caliper and the inner wheel barrel. I hear it’s only a few millimeters, which can get clogged up with klagg and cause damage if and when rocks get in there. Would appreciate some pictures of it if possible. I wonder how many credit cards will fit in that space? Each one is .8 mm.

Forgot you are doing the PFC brakes so clearance isn’t an issue. I know those don’t fit with the stock wheels though, so if you get the Forgelines first, I would still would be curious to see what your thoughts are on the clearance there with the calipers.

it’s not like the clearance from the stock brake calipers and the mag wheels is large. I’ve already got a bunch of scars in my stock wheels from the stock calipers.

PFC/Forgeline is gonna be the way to go for 19”…
