I have to agree 100% having installed my "GT3" shifters in both the Spyder and the GT3 I love the quality and feel of Roy's product (particularly vs the OEM crap) ...

completely transforms the shifting experience!

and I love that I have custom colors on the shifter pattern that add detail to the painted interiors

I just ordered one for my Cayman S, Is the S aluminum the same as in the GTS? I would like to match it if possible.

Reach out to Roy and ask. He can custom match it.

I am a glass half-filled kind of guy. At least you aren't waiting for an allocation for a car!

Got my "stock spec" sport shifter installed. Almost max lowered (used the little notch ring on the stem as a height guide since max was a hair too low). Haven't driven the car yet but feels great. This pretty much eliminates all the flex on the stock ****, which in particular makes the 1->2 shifts smoother and less grindy. I went with the light weight version and am happy with the weight so far in driveway testing. All said, I much prefer goose neck shaped ***** so if they ever came out with that shape (in particular w/ full alcantara wrap on the back) I'd switch to that in a heartbeat.
